Here is a members only a full-length, total body resistance band workout that you can do in your home or at the yard to increase upper and lower strength whilst focussing on scapular stability, glute and core strength.

When I am programming for riders i ‘nearly’ always prescribe total body workouts because I believe that is the most effective way to transfer physical traits over to the horse, when you ride you use your entire body!

Written Workout

Band Assisted Squat : 3 sets; 12 reps

Banded Pull Through : 3 sets; 12 reps

Single Arm Band Shoulder Press : 3 sets; 12 reps

Banded Mid Back Row : 3 sets; 12 reps

Pallof Press : 2 sets; 15 reps (each side)

Banded Side Lying Leg Raises : 2 sets; 15 reps (each side)

Banded TYI : 2 sets; 10 reps

If you haven’t considered it I would really recommend investing in some basic at home kit to enhance your workouts. In this video I use a resistance band set with a door anchor which in my opinion is fantastic you can get sets or just the door anchor if you already have bands on at reasonable prices.
